Stable holding device for the exact positioning of mounted medium format slides (4.5 x 6 cm and 6 x 6 cm slides in mounts 7 x 7 cm). For digitizing by using a camera with macro lens (1:1) mounted to a copy stand or tripod. To use on light boxes.

With four steplessly adjustable masking strips.

Includes overlay mat sized 254 x 201 mm (10 x 7.9 in.) that serves as a protection against stray light.

Note: The “FilmCopy Vario” holding device, code no. 2457 or code no. 2458 (with “slimlite plano“ LED light box) is suitable for digitizing mounted 35 mm slides, film strips and unframed single slides and negatives (slide film, black & white film, color negative film) from 35 mm up to 6 x 9 cm. Larger formats than 35 mm require special format masks or glass inserts, which are available as accessories.

Tip: There are various software solutions for converting black & white/color negatives, e.g. from Negative Lab Pro or ColorPerfect.
